ABO Luncheon

May 13 -- The Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York will hold its monthly luncheon from noon to 2:00 p.m. Andrew Alper, president of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, will be the featured speaker at the event. The luncheon will take place at the National Arts Club, at 15 Gramercy Park South. Members: $60 per person. Non-members: $75 per person. Downtown Walk

May 13, 15, 20 and 22 -- The Downtown Alliance is sponsoring a free Wall Street Walking Tour. This tour weaves together the history, events, architecture and people of Lower Manhattan, and showcases Downtown as the birthplace of New York, the financial capital of the world and the most dynamic neighborhood in the city. The walk will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and starts at the front steps of the U.S. Custom House at One Bowling Green. Stops include Stone Street Historic District, Trinity Church, Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, and other architectural and cultural sites. The walk is free.

ABO Luncheon

May 13 -- Andrew Alper, president of the of New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) will address the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York, Inc. (ABO) at The National Arts Club. Alper will discuss the new and current programs the EDC offers as well as future plans the organization is pursuing. The luncheon is open to ABO members and non-members. The price of the luncheon is $60 for members and $75 for non-members. Reservations should be made by calling 212.385.4949, no later than May 11. The National Arts Club is located at 15 Gramercy Park South, East 20th Street (between Park Avenue and Irving Place).

MBA Golf and Tennis Outing

Dalton will cover a comprehensive range of topics, including what today's consumers expect from real estate companies and agents, how Internet advertising is extraordinarily important in securing listings, how it is more effective than print advertising, and timely tips on how Internet marketing also addresses fee justification issues, and much more. The program to be held on Monday, May 17 at 9:30 a.m. at the New York Athletic Club, is free and open to all Real Estate Professionals but seating is limited. May 18 -- The Building Owners and Managers Association will hold a "Tenant Relations and Leasing" educational seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Robert Fink, of Reckson Associates, and Benjamin F. PWC Golf Outing
