Retailers promise masses a year of lux' for less

Real Estate Weekly, May 18, 2005 by Faith Hope Consolo, Douglas Elliman

In the Financial District: Look for big box mania to hit the business center of the city. Home Depot is said to be seriously scouting a location at 26 Broadway, as well as another on the Upper West Side. Daffy's is also now downtown, at 50 Broadway.

Big boxes, department stores and lots of fabulous new places to grab the luxury look for less. Whether you're a fashionista or just want to look like one, there will be plenty of new stores to suit your needs.

As Robin would say, "Champagne wishes and caviar dreams!"
