Real Estate Weekly, June 3, 2009
Colliers Houston & Co. completed a 48,100 s/f industrial lease renewal agreement on behalf of the landlord, Pan Realty, for Amerlux, an architectural lighting for sustainable design company, located at 19-21 Daniel Road East in Fairfield, New Jersey.
Colliers Houston's Howard Weinberg, SIOR, senior vice president, and Matt Turse, senior associate, represented the landlord, Pan Realty, in this transaction, while the tenant, Amerlux, was represented by Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey. "Amerlux has been a tenant at this facility for the past several years, utilizing the space as engineering, assembly, storage and distribution facility for their sustainable lighting fixtures," stated Weinberg.
"The facility's outstanding amenities, coupled with its convenient location in the heart of Essex County, as well as its competitive pricing, initially attracted Amerlux to this property and ultimately led to their decision to stay here for another lease term.
"We are happy to be able to close this transaction on such agreeable terms for both parties and we look forward to working with this long-standing client in the future." 19-21 Daniel Road East is a 48,100 s/f industrial/ flex building close to the Newark New Jersey Train Station, Newark Liberty International Airport and Port-Newark.
