Stylander Design Group to design new WFC office

Real Estate Weekly, May 14, 2003

Adding to an expanding roster of law firm clients, the Wall Street based interior design firm Stylander Design Group, has been awarded a project to design the new 13,000-SF offices of Hill Betts & Nash at One World Financial Center.

Hill Betts & Nash is a century-old maritime law firm that handled litigation in high profile cases like the sinking of the Titanic and the Exxon Valdez. The firm is returning Downtown having been displaced from their offices at the World Trade Center and has been located at 99 Park Ave. since Sept. 11.

"Consistent with recent published market reports, our last four projects in New York have all been law firms," says Johan Stylander, principal of Stylander Design Group, "we are very excited to be part of the rebuilding currently under way Downtown, and look forward to other market segments gaining momentum as well."

Stylander Design Group's clients include international corporations such as Hong Kong based OOCL, Australian QBE and Hotel Birger Jarl in Stockholm.
