Sheldon Good to auction properties May 23 at Grand Hyatt
Real Estate Weekly, May 22, 2002
Sheldon Good & Company Auctions NorthEast, LLC, as part of its Metro New York multiple property auction series, will auction a Cold Spring Harbor, LI, NY trophy home; a Glen Cove, LI, NY development site; a former Connecticut piano manufacturing plant; and five New York/NJ area co-ops. The auction will take place at 7 p.m. on May 23 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City, located at 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue.
Steven L. Good, chairman, Sheldon Good & Company International, LLC, said:"This is an opportunity for buyers with the widest number of priorities to acquire value in one venue. And the sellers are availing themselves of considerable cost efficiencies associated with Sheldon Good's multiple property auction, an event we conduct often in the New York market."
Said Jeffrey Hubbard, managing director of Sheldon Good & Company Auctions NorthEast, LLC :"These are significant properties; for the most part they have unique character and an attractiveness to discerning purchasers, who know how to identify and capitalize on real value. Sheldon Good brings real value to the sellers' needs. Within the multi-property auction, we can focus upon the individual properties as well.
For instance in this auction: a real estate investor hired us to sell a Glen Cove development opportunity because he wanted to focus on larger projects in the city rather than developing this site himself."
