Troy furniture store opens in Chelsea Terminal Warehouse

New York City based brokerage firm, Sinvin Realty Corp., has secured the first retail tenant at the newly renovated, 150,000-SF, Chelsea Terminal Warehouse located on West 27th and West 28th Streets and 11th and 12th Avenues. Troy, a furniture store specializing in an offbeat mix of mid-20th Century Danish pieces and contemporary designs, signed a 15-year lease for 17,300 SF- of basement space and first- and second-floor in the building.
Troy will be opening this new flagship store this summer, when it is relocating from its current location at 138 Greene St. According to Bruce Sinder, president of Sinvin Realty, who served as the leasing agent for landlord Waterfront NY Realty Inc., the asking prices in the renovated building are $20 per SF for the basement and upper floor and $35 per SF for the ground floor space.
