T-Mobile selects broker

Real Estate Weekly, May 26, 2004

United Systems Integrators Corporation has been awarded a contract to provide select real estate, design and construction services to major portions of T-Mobile's U.S. commercial real estate portfolio.

In addition, USI will serve as consultant and advisor for information management and lease administration services for T-Mobile's entire portfolio of 1,400 commercial leases and all 28,000 cell site leases.

Seattle-based T-Mobile USA, Inc. is one of the fastest growing national wireless service providers.

USI will initially abstract and load T-Mobile's commercial and cell site leases. SEQUENTRA, USI's core software platform, will be used to track all projects in the T-Mobile portfolio and provide web-based access to all of T-Mobile's lease administration information.

The USI team of real estate specialists, strategic planners, project managers, architects and information management professionals will provide proactive portfolio review, real estate master planning, business case development, research and demographics, financial advisory and benchmarking services. USI's goal is to help streamline T-Mobile's real estate operations and identify synergies.

"We have found that a disciplined, process-driven approach to real estate management provides the best path to generating savings. We are honored to align with such a well-respected business leader as T-Mobile, and we look forward to demonstrating that USI's model will support the cost savings that we have projected for T-Mobile," said Ed McLaughlin, chairman and CEO of USI.

"In light of a tough economy and a down market, USI has captured market share and launched a key regional presence in the Northwest--working both with T-Mobile and a multi-year alliance with Frank Russell Company--we are committed to achieving great things in this region," said Nick Westley, USI president for the West region and the account principal for the T-Mobile account.
