On earth day

Real Estate Weekly, May 26, 2004

As part of BOMA/NY's expanded commitment to sustaining natural resources, members of its energy committee, in coordination with the New York Parks Department and Jennifer Greenfeld, director of the New York Tree Trust, organized a ceremonial tree planting in downtown Manhattan to coincide with Earth Day 2004.

The white-flowering Japanese Pagoda Tree, which was generously provided and installed by member Richard Heller and the Mornhurst Gardens Co., Inc., was planted at the entrance to the Little Red School House & Elisabeth Irwin High School on Bleecker Street and Sixth Avenue.
