NYU Course

New York University's Real Estate Institute (REI) offers the current 45-hour real estate salesperson's course and, as of July 2008, will offer the new 75-hour course. In addition, NYU REI will have a complete range of courses to help current brokers and salespeople stay abreast of current requirements and maintain their licenses in light of these new licensing laws. NYU REI is also offering an approved 22.5-hour continuing education course, titled "Managing Residential Property." This class fulfills the continuing education requirement for all New York State real estate licensees and is being offered on three consecutive days, Tuesday through Thursday, June 24 to 26, meeting from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The enrollment fee is $255.

Queens College Courses

Queens College CEP is partnering with Career Web-School to offer online real estate and appraisal courses online. Registration is now open for continuing education courses in Foreclosures, Property Management, Zoning Analysis and Urban Land Sse, Co-op's and Condominiums, Commercial Real Estate Sales & Leasing, Landlord-Tenant Law, Personal Safety & Risk Reduction and Introduction to Real Estate Sales & Leasing. The program will also offer Internet for Real Estate Agents. Participants will receive a free introductory subscription for full access to PropertyShark. Money Summit

June 18: The symposium, entitled "The Credit Crisis: Money For Real Estate," will be moderated and coordinated by Michael Stoler senior principal of Apollo Real Estate Investors, and a prominent journalist and broadcaster in the real estate field.
