NYARM Lunch
May 28 - The New York Association of Realty Managers membership luncheon will take place at Tavern on The Green located at Central Park West and 67th Street. During the pre-pre-luncheon LEARNING SESSION at 11 a.m. the on-going-series, of the Required Ethics course needed to achieve NYARM certification, will be given by Gumley Haft's chief operating officer, Daniel Wollman, and director of management and The Federation of NY Housing Cooperatives and Condominiums' executive director, Greg Carison. Meet the speakers during the pre luncheon noon to 1 p.m. networking session. During the luncheon and program from 1 to 2 p.m. Maximizing Building Employees Productivity, under the new Union Local 32BJ contract, will be the topic. RSVPS necessary.

IREM Course
May 22 to Aug. 3 - The Greater New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) will offer a course titled "Introduction to Real Estate Management" on ten Thursday evenings beginning May 22 through August 3. There will be no class on July 3. The course will be taught by Sandra Kerin, CPM at New York University's Midtown Center from 6 to 9 p.m. "Introduction to Real Estate Management is a preliminary course covering residential, office and retail properties. The textbook Principals of Real Estate Management, Fourteenth Edition is required and is included in the course fee of $625. NRC Lunch
June 2 - The National Realty Club, Inc. will be holding a luncheon at the Williams Club at 24 East 39th St. at noon. Joshua Sirefman, COO of NYC Economic Development Corporation will be speaking on the topic of what NYCEDC is doing to help out NYC. Club members pay $40. Nonmembers pay a prepaid amount of $65. UJA-Federation Cocktail Reception
June 3 - The Hotel and Hospitality Division of UJA-Federation of New York will hold a special cocktail reception on immediately following the conclusion of New York University's 25th Annual International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, which attracts recognized leaders in the travel and tourism industry from around the world. June 3 -- The Real Estate Board of New York will hold a commercial management leadership breakfast from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Edward A. Riguardi, vice president of REBNY's management division and managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle, will receive an Industry Leadership Award. NYU Course
June 3 to 17 -- The Real Estate Institute of New York University will offer a 22.5-hour continuing education course, entitled "New York Landlord Tenant Law," from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on three consecutive Tuesdays. The course will discuss lease provisions for rent-regulated apartments and commercial properties, landlord rights and obligations. BOMA Lunch

Appraisal Institute Breakfast
June 5 - The Metro New York Chapter of the Appraisal Institute will host the third in a series of breakfast meeting seminars at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 West 44th St. The seminar's speakers will be Steven Spinola, president, the Real Estate Board of New York; and Daniel Rose, chairman, Rose Associates, Inc. The event begins at 8 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast. The seminar will run from 8:15-10:15 a.m. The cost is $25 per person.
