HRH Construction named among top 20

Real Estate Weekly, June 5, 2002

HRH Construction ended a successful year of rapid growth by being named one of the top 20 contractors and construction managers nationwide, ranked according to total revenue. HRH was also highly ranked according to revenue generated from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut projects, taking the 14th rung.

"In the coming year, New York City will need help from all sectors in rebuilding and recovering," said Brad Singer, president and COO of HRH. "As one of the city's biggest builders, we look forward to putting our weight into that effort."

HRH flourished over the last year, carrying out major work for prestigious metro area clients such as the The Related Companies, LCOR and the Lutheran Medical Center. Recent HRH projects include 430 Park Ave. and Grand Beekman.

In 2001, HRH commenced work at Bank Street Commons, in White Plains. Located on a 2.6-acre site on Main Street, adjacent to the city's Metro North Railroad Station, LCOR's $100 million project is one of the largest developments in Westchester County's recent history.

Bank Street Commons comprises 500 luxury apartments in two-new 20-plus-story towers. The developer also has approval to build a hotel on the site with up to 200 rooms.

HRH also began work last year on the Gateway Center retail mega-development in Brooklyn for The Related Companies. The 640,000-SF, 13-building project, along with its 2,900-car parking lot, will be home to top-tier retailers such as Target, The Home Depot, BJ's Wholesale Club and Circuit City. The $100 million project will transform a 48-acre former city landfill into one of New York's premier shopping destinations.

HRH was ranked in the April issue of New York Construction News magazine, published by the McGraw-Hill Companies.
