GreenbergFarrow announces $25,000 scholarship

GreenbergFarrow, the national planning, architectural, engineering and development consulting firm, is bolstering recruitment at colleges and universities nationwide through a $25,000 scholarship initiative.

"With national reach and a multidisciplinary scope, GreenbergFarrow provides outstanding opportunities for professional and personal growth," said Rita Wilson, director of human resources for GreenbergFarrow.

"As we reach out to successful college students through this program, they benefit by having a valuable opportunity to work hand-in-hand with some of the nation's most prominent retailers and developers."

Under the "University Partnership" scholarship program, GreenbergFarrow is providing paid internships to the following students for the semester or quarter of their choice:

California Polytechnic University at Pomona:Stephen Nieto, Architecture; Georgia Tech: John O'Har, Civil Engineering, Mike Morton, City & Regional Planning, Rachel Dickey, Architecture; New Jersey Institute of Technology: Joshua Proll, Architecture; Northeastern University: Marc Stonier, Civil Engineering;

University of Illinois at Chicago:Lauren Fleer, Civil Engineering; University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign: Ladd Scheiss, Urban & Regional Planning; Rosemary Venen, Architecture; University of Texas at Arlington: Herman Tarin, Civil Engineering ; Rutgers University: Katrina Majewski, Landscape Architecture ; Man Yeung Chung, Civil Engineering

In addition, GreenbergFarrow made donations to the Engineering Career Services Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Civil Engineering Department at California Polytechnic Institute at Pomona.

Wilson said that institutional choices were based on the superiority of academic programs and proximity to GreenbergFarrow's regional ofrices.

"Not only does this help students be better prepared but it also helps GreenbergFarrow stay at the forefront of recruiting top talent into the firm," Wilson added.
