Three execs lead Einstein golf and tennis tournament

Scott Handler, president of Handler Real Estate Services; Yozzi Razon, managing director of America's Partners; and Samuel G. Weinberg, president of Weinberg Properties, are serving on the committee for the 40th Anniversary Golf and Tennis Tournament, of the Men's Division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The tournament will take place on June 25 at the Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle, N.Y.
Golfer Larry Laoretti, a member of the Senior PGA Tour, will conduct a golf clinic. Each golfer will also have the opportunity to "challenge the pro." A native New Yorker, Mr. Laoretti joined the Senior PGA Tour in 1989 at 50, without ever having played on the PGA Tour. Three years later, he won the U.S. Senior Open Championship. He has earned various accolades including being named one of the Top 10 Newsmakers of 1992 by Golfweek and one of the top 5 most popular players by Golf Illustrated.
Founded in 1961, the Men's Division is a major fundraising arm of the Albert College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. Proceeds from its 40th Anniversary Golf and Tennis Tournament will benefit prostate cancer research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. The Division is chaired by David H. Schwartz, president of First Capital Equities, an investment firm located in Great Neck, NY.Marc Karetsky, a principal with Banc of America Securities in Manhattan, is chairing the Golf and Tennis Tournament. Robert C. Patent is serving as chairman of the golf tournament. Associate chairmen of the golf tournament are Daniel A. Faucetta, a vice president of investment at Salomon Smith Barney in New York City, and Mitchel Maidman of Maidman and Mittleman LLP.
