Insignia/ESG markets space at 1166 Avenue of the Americas
Real Estate Weekly, June 13, 2001
Prime retail space consisting of 3,600 SF at 1166 Avenue of the Americas is on the market for rent through Insignia/ESG Urban Retail Group.
Now occupied by women's-wear chain Strawberry, the stellar space on the northeast corner of 45th Street, will be available for occupancy in early February 2002.
Acting as agent for the building's retail space owner, Marsh & McLennan, Insignia/ESG's David LaPierre is leading the marketing effort.
"Given the retail landscape of Avenue of the Americas, we expect the space to ideally suit either a financial institution or a high-end clothier commensurate with many of the upscale tenancies in the nearby vicinity, such as Ann Taylor, Thomas Pink, Fleet Bank, American Express and HSBC," said LaPierre, who added
that the asking rent is $175 per SF.
