Q&A completes training center at Madison Square Garden

Quartararo & Associates (Q&A), the largest independent project management firm headquartered in New York, has completed construction of the Madison Square Garden Training Center in Greenburgh, New York. This new complex consolidates three training facilities into a 105,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art campus for the New York Knicks, New York Rangers and New York Liberty.

Q&A led a collaborative international team, comprised of the architecture firm of Brisbin Brook Beynon and Turner Construction, the construction manager, as well as all other vendors and consultants, through the intricate project timeline.

"The Madison Square Garden Training Center was a unique project that required meticulous coordination to meet the collective needs of three individual sports teams," said Raymond Quartararo, founder and president of Q&A.

The MSG Training Center includes two NBA basketball courts, a regulation size NHL hockey rink and media accommodations. The Center is comprised of three wings, each dedicated to an individual team, featuring separate locker and shower rooms, tiered classrooms, weight rooms, training rooms along with separate team offices and a central kitchen and dining facility. Each team has customized high-tech instructional facilities including audio/visual systems for taping games and scouting, as well as individually tailored physical therapy and conditioning rooms and luxurious player lounges.
