Cooper Square Realty buys 11 prime properties

Real Estate Weekly, June 23, 2004

Cooper Square Realty has acquired the cooperative and condominium portfolio of Property Resources Corporation (PRC), in a merger transaction, announced David Kuperberg, president of Cooper Square Realty.

The deal expands Cooper Square's robust portfolio of more than 120 co-op and condo properties, with eleven additional prime properties, including 25 Tudor City Place, 150 East 61st Street, 25 West 13th Street, 161 West 75th Street and The Howard in Rego Park/Forest Hills, Queens.

"We are eager to provide these communities with our innovative services," says Mr. Kuperberg. "CooperSquareConnect is a state-of-the-art system that provides residents with amenities for communication and building security." While the principals of PRC have decided to focus on government-assisted properties, employees Alex Butkevich, Radames Revilla, Robert Massre and Janet Diaz will join Cooper Square in its traditional roles.

"Cooper Square, being one if the leading managers of cooperative apartments in New York City, has long been known for benefiting clients with both its personal touch and substantial resources," says Mr. Kuperberg.

Cooper Square Realty, Inc. is a full-service real estate organization specializing in property management and ancillary services.

This summer, a one-of-a-kind sophisticated training center for property managers will be unveiled that features detailed models of boilers, elevators, restroom facilities, computer hardware and more. This unusual approach to training property managers offers thorough, hands-on experience in preparation for the demands of a multifaceted job.

Cooper Square is among the few management organizations nationwide to hold the coveted credential of Accredited Management Organization (AMO).

Under Mr. Kuperberg's leadership, Cooper Square has also garnered an extensive array of awards for excellence in property management.

Cooper Square's portfolio includes more than 120 properties, representing an aggregate value of more than $2 billion.

Cooper Square buildings include Central Park Place Condominium, Carnegie Hill Tower, Lincoln Square Condominium, Gramercy Towers, City Lights and others.
