Talbots Kids store under renovation

B.R. Fries & Associates has started interior renovation of the Talbots Kids store at Second Avenue and 79th Street in Manhattan. The project is being fast-tracked for completion in June, with work proceeding in phases so the store can remain open throughout the construction.

Project manager Peter Morandi says the project includes installation of Talbots Kids' new prototypical millwork, painting and flooring. New lighting will be installed and the mechanical/ electrical system will be modified.

Fries is also in the midst of an expansion of Talbots' flagship store on Madison Avenue, where the chain is adding a new men's store. "Talbots has been a longtime client," said B. R. Fries president Norman Rijo, "and we're pleased to be working on another project for them."
