ConEdison Solutions honors Walsh

ConEdison Solutions, a leading energy service provider, has presented Mike Walsh, its director of business system Development, with the company's annual President's Award.

The award recognizes an employee who embodies and embraces customer focus, quality, interpersonal skills, industry change, teamwork and employee development. The President's Award pays tribute to Walsh for his work on behalf of the company during 2002.

"Mike Walsh inspires everyone at ConEdison Solutions with his outstanding commitment to the company, his co-workers and his customers," said JoAnn Ryan, president and chief executive officer of ConEdison Solutions. "His accomplishments have contributed significantly to the firm's leading position in the energy services industry."

For the past two years, Walsh has served as ConEdison Solutions' Director of Business System Development. He works one-on-one with internal clients to help them streamline business processes and implement information driven solutions that save money and increase efficiency. Walsh has played a leading role in creating and enhancing automation solutions for commercial customers.

Walsh joined ConEdison Solutions in 1998 as manager of information technology, and has held positions of increasing responsibility during his time at the company.

He previously served in a number of management positions at Con Edison Inc., the parent company of ConEdison Solutions.

Walsh, who earned a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Missouri, lives in Monroe, New York with his wife and two children.
