National Association of Women Business Owners announced that Barbara Shaheen Alesi, Esq. has been elected secretary of the executive board of its Long Island Chapter.

Alesi is partner at Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn LLP law firm. She specializes in commercial real estate transactions, private placements of securities, and asset-based financing.

Alesi holds a J.D. from St. John's University. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, and the North Shore Animal League.
