MetLife announced that Robert R. Merck has been appointed as head of real estate investments. In his new position, Merck will be responsible for the firm's commercial mortgage and equity real estate portfolio.
Merck has more than 20 years of experience in real estate. He has been with the company since 1982.
Merck holds a B.B.A. from Emory University and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. He resides in Far Hills, N.J. with his wife and two children.
