Broker sharing secrets of effective marketing

Jacky Teplitzky, an executive vice president at Douglas Elliman, will teach "Effective Marketing Techniques in Real Estate Brokerage" during the Fall 2004 semester, The Real Estate Institute at New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies announced.

The seven-week class, which will begin on September 22, is geared toward seasoned real estate professionals.

Ms. Teplitzky will cover: self-marketing; direct mail strategies; property representation and promotion; time management concepts; Internet-based marketing; and public relations.

The course will begin each Wednesday at 6:00 pm and last for two hours.

She is an active guest speaker, having presented at Merrill Lynch, Citibank Private Banking, Smith Barney, The Learning Annex and The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
