Planned Companies has hired Thomas Gorgla as the N.Y. operations manager for Planned Security Services. His job will entail ensuring employee satisfaction, coordinating special assignments for customers, employees and upper management as well as assisting the vice president of operations. Prior to joining Planned Companies, Thomas worked at SIRIUS Satellite Radio in New' York City, where he served as the director of corporate security and safety. He has also worked as a security project manager for Wackenhut Corporation in Cranford, New Jersey, and an account manager for Bristol Meyers Squib. Before moving to the States, Mr. Gorgla worked for 11 years with Liberia's National Secret Service and has also completed two tours of training in Israel at the Mosaic Academy, which deals with counter terrorism and executive protection. Thomas is actively involved in the Apple Organization of New York (for security managers).
