In a transaction arranged by Newmark & Company Real Estate Inc., the State University of New York at Stony Brook has leased 18,500 sf of office space at 401 Park Ave. South. Newmark & Company managing director John Lizzul represented SUNY in negotiations with owner Meringhoff Properties.
SUNY-Stony Brook's new offices and classrooms are located on the second floor of 401 Park Ave. South (at E. 28th St.), deep in a neighborhood popular with Internet firms. This address is ideal for the University's new executive MBA program in information management, allowing for academic interaction with the high-tech industry in New York.
