Realty Club Lunch

Sept. 9 - The National Realty Club will hold a luncheon, entitled "Real Estate a Year Later: The shakeout from 9/11," from noon to 2 p.m. Lois Weiss, columnist for the New York Post, will be the featured speaker at the event. The luncheon will take place at the Williams Club, at 24 E. 39th St. Members: $40 per person. Nonmembers: $60 per person. REBNY Golf Outing

Sept. 9 - The Real Estate Board of New York will holds its annual golf outing from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will include a full day of golf, a full day of tennis, lunch, and cocktail reception. It will take place at the Metropolis Country Club in White Plains, N.Y. Full day of golf: $360 per person. Full day of tennis: $285 per person. Dinner only: $150 per person. Building Systems Course

Sept. 9 - Dec. 9 - BOMA-NJ will hold The Design, Operation and Maintenance of Building Systems, Part 1, 19011 on Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m. at Schindler Elevator Corporation, 20 Whippany Road, Morristown, N.J. This course teaches how to manage the ongoing operation and maintenance of building systems, gaining insight into the many issues that affect building efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Energy Management Course

Sept. 10 - Dec. 10 - BOMA-NJ will hold Energy Management and Controls 12101 on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schindler Elevator Corporation, 20 Whippany Road, Morristown, N.J. This is a BOMI Institute course and is required for both the SMT and SMA designation programs. It will also hold Environmental Health and Safety Issues on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. at International Management Corporation, 80 Cottontail Lane, Somerset, N.J. BOMA Lunch

Sept. 12 - BOMA/NY will hold a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel at 1535 Broadway between 45 and 46th Streets. The luncheon marks the premiere of the documentary and archival record "Everyday Heroes."

The film is the first ever vehicle of its kind to recognize the personal and professional contributions made at all levels of the commercial property management and ownership field. The cost is $75 for members and $85 for guests. For more information, call Hallie Sherck at (212) 239-3662.

YMBA Lunch

Sept. 12 - The Young Mortgage Bankers Association will host a luncheon and program beginning at noon at the Cornell Club, 6 East 44th St. The program, a "Meet The Lenders," is one of the organization's most well attended annual events. The seminar features representatives from local lenders, such as thrifts, commercial banks, investment banks and insurance companies, who discuss the current state of the commercial real estate market. The cost is $50 per person for members paying in advance and $65 per person for non-members and those paying at the door. Due to limited seating, early registration is encouraged.
