PDE retail team has its Eye on the ball

Real Estate Weekly, Sept 7, 2005

Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman, and Joseph A. Aquino, Executive Vice President, along with team member Benjamin Kofron of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing and Sales Division, represented optical retailer, Eye to Eye, and the landlord exclusively in a long-term lease at 126 University Place.

Situated between 13th and 14th Streets, in Union Square, Eye to Eye, which carries luxury eyeglasses and sunglasses from Maui Jim, Dior, Polo Sport, Armani, Kate Spade and Dirty Dog, among others, will occupy two floors totaling 3,500 s/f when it opens in Fall 2005.

The new store, which will join Eye to Eye's three other Manhattan locations, will boast an on-premises lab so that all work can be performed in-house.

Other retailers in the area include a new Virgin Mega Stores, Circuit City, Urban Outfitters, Diesel, The Container Store, Toys R Us, United Artists Theaters, and Barnes & Noble.
