Shipping Assoc. docks in Edison

Real Estate Weekly, Sept 26, 2007

The New York Shipping Association, Inc. (NYSA), an organization dedicated to maximizing the efficiency, cost competitiveness, safety and quality of marine cargo operations in the Port of New York and New Jersey, has relocated from 100 Wood Avenue South in Iselin, New Jersey to 333 Thornall Street in Edison, New Jersey.

Studley's Jack Feeney, managing director, Iselin, and Robert Goodman, senior managing director, New York, represented NYSA in this 14,800-square-foot lease. Studley previously served as an advisor to NYSA in its initial move to Iselin from the World Trade Center after September 11, 2001.

"While the Edison space is smaller than the 20,000 square feet NYSA leased in Iselin, it is more aesthetically pleasing and eliminates redundant space allowing for greater operational efficiencies," said Mr. Feeney.

Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord, Metroview Office LLC.
