Germans buy Vornado bldg
Real Estate Weekly, Sept 3, 2003
Vornado Realty Trust's Two Park Ave., a 965,000 SF office property located in Midtown South, was acquired by SEB Immobilien-Investment GMBH, an open-ended fund based in Frankfurt, Germany.
The $292 million transaction was arranged by CB Richard Ellis' Woody Heller.
"I am enormously proud to have represented Vornado," said Heller.
"I'm also thrilled to have played a role in such a significant transaction, which garnered SEB its first major asset in New York City."
Built in 1928, the 29-story office property boasts such tenants as The Tribune Company, Hartford Fire Insurance, and United Way of NY.
