A la mode launches new software designed to benefit R.E. inspectors

Real Estate Weekly, Sept 3, 2003

a la mode, inc., a provider of appraisal software and real estate technology services, launched Inspector XSites, a website creation and hosting suite designed for the specific needs of the U.S. home inspectors.

Inspector XSites uses the same technology used to power the company's Appraiser XSites.

Since its debut in March, XSites technology has provided appraisers with easy to manage interactive web sites that enhance productivity, manage client/customer orders, promote visitor "stickiness" and provide real-time instant updates.

Inspector XSites brings the same functionality to home inspectors. In just 15 minutes, inspectors can create a custom, animated Web presence, including a personalized domain name, automatic submission to major search engines, ten virus-free CertMail e-mail boxes--all backed by a la mode's 100-day money back guarantee.

"Home inspection services have become integral to the real estate process, with more than 75 percent of home buyers now utilizing inspections," said Rusty Lindquist, a la mode's XSites product manager.

"As interest rates rise, inspectors will increase their competitiveness through their Internet presence. With Inspector XSites, we are providing inspectors with an easy way to create and maintain a professional presence on the Web, for less than the cost of a single inspection."

Features of Inspector XSites include an intuitive, interactive wizard; an online ordering system; instant notification of new orders; mobile e-mail with ten virus free mailboxes; and instant domain registration and set-up.

XSites can be updated, edited and customized anytime, from any computer connected to the Internet.
