Thomas Fridstein, FAIA, CEO of Hillier Architecture, has announced that the following professionals were recently hired by the New York office:
Rae Slater has joined Hillier Architecture as Interior Designer and Librarian. Previously with The Arnell Group, KPF Architects and Material Connexion, Ms. Slater is also the Materials Librarian at the prestigious Parsons School of Design. She earned a BFA in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and is a resident of New York City.
Kathy L. Kleiver, 34, is the office's new Marketing Manager. Formerly marketing manager at RTKL Associates and Wisnewski Blair Associates, Ms. Kleiver is an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. She is a resident of New York City.
Jira Seriraj is a Project Architect at Hillier who comes to the firm from Gensler. He has 30 years of experience in the design of buildings and interior spaces. Mr. Seriraj is currently working on Sunset Park High School and on a new laboratory / office building for the Rohm & Haas Company in Shanghai. He holds an M.Arch. and M.S. in Urban Design, both from the Pratt Institute. He is a resident of Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Teresa Rampolla, RA, 33, has joined Hillier from Janko Rasic Architects. She is currently working on the Sanofi-Aventis Regional Expansion project and the Hamilton Street Residence. She earned a Master of Architecture degree from Parsons School of Design, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design from the University of Puerto Rico. An active member of the Colegio de Arquitectos y Arquitectos Paisajistas de Puerto Rico, she is also NCARB certified. Ms. Rampolla is a resident of New York City.
Justin Boon, 27, has joined the K-12 Practice Group as a Draftsman. A graduate of the Southern California Institute of Architecture's Bachelor of Architecture program, Mr. Boon is currently working on the Bronx Studio School for Writers and Artists. He is a resident of New York City.
Mary Walton, 28, is the office's new Receptionist. Ms. Walton holds a BFA from the Atlanta College of Art in Atlanta, Georgia, and she is a resident of Brooklyn, New York.
