Aztec's Peace award

Real Estate Weekly, August 1, 2007

Aztec Architects was recently hired to design a 5,500 s/f building for the Prince of Peace Church located at 434 Aldrich Road in Howell, NJ. The expanded facility is ideally located across from the New Jersey Transit park-n-ride lot at the intersection of Route 9.

"We are assisting Prince of Peach Church through the preliminary stages of the project," said Kurt Kalafsky, principal at Aztec. "Aztec is confident that the completion of this project will be extremely functional and beneficial to the church and community."

"The members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church are excited about the new building designed by The Aztec Corporation," said Kenneth French, chairman of the board of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. "This building will enable us to start up a day care center that will help to better serve the parishioners and surrounding community."

The new building is slated to be used as a preschool and daycare center and will expand the church's existing preschool operations. Aztec will be working with Prince of Peace and assisting them through all stages of this project, from presentation to the zoning board through interior construction documentation, DYFS approvals, and construction bidding and administration.

The growing residential population has created a need for the services that the Prince of Peace congregation has been offering for many years.
