Hall F. Willkie has been named president of Brown Harris Stevens Residential Sales, LLC, a newly created position within the company. Willkie joined the Brown Harris Stevens residential sales division in 1988 and has been overseeing the division as executive vice president.
Willkie will continue to oversee residential sales with a staff of over 150 sales agents in Manhattan for three offices, covering Manhattan's East Side, West Side, and Downtown area. In addition, he will oversee the firms two Palm Beach offices with over 40 brokers. Prior to the firm, Willkie was senior vice president and director of residential sales for Douglas Elliman.
A.P. Construction Company announced the promotion of two employees to the positions of vice president of financial reporting and administration and controller of accounting.
Sharon Bone, a financial expert with 20 years of experience, has been promoted to the newly-created position of vice president of financial reporting and administration. In her new role, she will work with the company's executive team to develop appropriate financial reporting tools, methods, and procedures to effectively manage the firm's businessoperations.
In addition, John Pedersen has been promoted to controller of accounting. He will be responsible for overseeing aspects of construction accounting and monthly financial reporting for the company. He will also manage the daily operations of the construction office and administrative staff personnel.
A resident of New Canaan, Bone joined A.P. Construction Company in 1991 as controller/office manager. Prior to that, she worked as controller for Frank Mercede Jr. Construction Group in Stamford. Bone has a B.A. in accounting from the University of North Carolina.
Pedersen, a resident of Stamford, joined A.P. Construction Company in 1996. Prior to that he served as an administrative and accounting manager in the New York office of Lawrence Mfg. Co., a division of Ames Textile Corp. Pedersen holds a B.A. in math from Trinity University and an M.B.A. in accounting from Suffolk University.
John W. Magee, chief executive officer, partner and founder of Rockwood Realty Associates, LLC, announced that Frank J. Sullivan has joined the firm as a managing director. Throughout his career, Sullivan has been responsible for transactions in the office, hotel, retail, and multi-family sectors valued in excess of $10 billion.
He is a 30-year veteran of the real estate and finance marketplace. Most recently, he participated in the development of an e-commerce initiative on behalf of Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Sullivan attended New York University's graduate school of business and holds a bachelor of science degree from Boston College. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Georgia, and North Carolina. He resides in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Thomas Gissen was appointed as corporate executive vice president at Ginsburg Development, LLC's Connecticut Division.
Arthur L. Scinta has joined Insignia/ESG, Inc. as an associate in the Westchester/Connecticut office. He will engage in a wide array of real estate services, including tenant and owner representation, property acquisition and disposition, and strategic planning and consulting. Although his primary territory is Westchester County and the state of Connecticut, he will utilize Insignia/ESG's corporate presence in other major markets to expand his service capabilities in the United States and abroad.
Before joining the Insignia/ESG family, Scinta practiced law for more than a decade in the Manhattan law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP. In addition to holding a law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Scinta earned a B.A. in architecture from Syracuse University. Scinta is a member of the board of the Historic House Trust of New York City. He is active in civic and municipal activities in the Village of Pelham, where he has served as a village trustee and currently serves as mayor.
Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Company announced that Stephen L. Levine has joined the firm's Manhattan office as a sales agent. Levine has been a highly visible agent in the Manhattan market for the past decade, having managed more than $200 million in real estate transactions.
He joins the company from Massey Knakal Realty Services, where he was a senior managing director specializing in the sale of buildings and development sites throughout Manhattan. He has more than 30 years of experience in real estate brokerage, valuation, investment, and development.
Levine's education credits include a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in mathematics from the University of Denver. In addition, he has the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a state-licensed real estate appraiser and broker.
EMG, the commercial real estate consultant firm, announced that James Ryan has joined its sales team as New York regional vice president. He will be responsible for business development and client liaison activities in the New York and New Jersey markets.
