The Thornton-Tomasetti Group announced that Emmanuel. E. Velivasakis has been appointed president of the technology division.
Previously, Velivasakis served as senior vice president and managing principal of the technology division. His list of projects included the Port Authority Bus Terminal, the Empire State Building, and the United States Capital Dome in Washington, DC.
Velivasakis holds a B.S. in civil engineering and an M.S. in structural engineering from the City University of New York. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Civil Engineering Research Foundation, and the New York Association of Consulting Engineers.
