Poster contest to be held at NYARM Expo in Oct

For the first time in the history of its trade show, The New York Association of Realty Managers (NYARM) is holding a special competition, a poster contest, to display the work of real estate professionals throughout the Tri-State region at the NYARM Expo 2001 Oct. 18 at Pier 88 at the Show Piers (12th Avenue and 48th Street), announces P. Leonard Jones, president of NYARM.
"Not only do people enjoy a good competition, it will be a great way for colleagues and competitors to see the latest projects, services and materials being offered on the market," says Jones. "In addition, I think this will make us more interactive and more interesting."
The various "Best" categories include: Lobby Upgrade, Elevator Upgrade, Playground Upgrade, Security Enhancement, Best Telecom/Internet Packaging, Original/Historic Restoration, Facade Improvement, Kitchen Upgrade, Indoor Air Quality/HVAC Upgrade, Boiler System Upgrade, ADA Compliance, Energy Efficient Lighting Retrofit and Best Overall Signage.
Entry forms are available through Expo producer, McCarthy Expositions at (973) 564-8648 or through the NYARM office, (212) 216-0654. The entry fee is $25, which must be submitted with a completed entry form and supporting materials no later than Friday, September 28, 2001. Winners will receive plaques, trophies and NYARM Expo T-shirts.
