Garden State Hi-Tech Park launches new web site

Real Estate Weekly, Sept 12, 2001

Garden State Hi-Tech Park in Neptune Township, New Jersey, has launched an innovative new web site that features a wealth of information about this first-of-its kind high-technology corporate complex.

Designed by Neptune-based Hunter Solutions, the new site provides complete details on what will be New Jersey's largest individually owned and operated corporate high-tech office park.

Potential tenants and visitors can log onto www.GSHTP.com to learn about the facility through such site offerings as construction updates, park and local amenities, building floor plans, aerial views and virtual tours.

The first phase of Garden State Hi-Tech Park is currently under construction laying the groundwork for exceptional capabilities and a world-class communications infrastructure which will offer tenants the latest in state-of-the-art technology features. The comprehensive web site reinforces the park's focus on information technology to drive business.

By utilizing various interactive components, the site reflects the dynamichightech environment, allowing visitors to get a realistic feel for what the 4-million-square-foot park will be like upon completion.

For instance, the "About The Park" section visually demonstrates why Garden State Hi-Tech Park will become the business world's most exciting new corporate address through a number of links that provide: frequent updates that track the park's construction progress; a complete illustrated master plan portraying the park's expected 19 buildings; aerial photography taken over the property's sprawling 180 acres, highlighting local roads and ocean views; detailed architectural renderings of the first buildings ready for lease; various floor plan options featuring several layout designs; and virtual tours that effectively simulate the overall park experience.

"What Makes It Hi-Tech" outlines the Park's vision for its campus design, building design and incubator space using special links and graphics. This section details the particulars of the skillfully coordinated campus design -- including the fiber optic infrastructure, a communications grid, satellite accessibility and underground duct work -- all allowing for easy expandability.

This area also presents information on the many services available in each building, such as LAN and WAN connectivity, cabling distribution for voice, data and video, as well as the state-of-the-art incubator space.

Another robust section, "State & County Facts," provides accurate factual information on doing business in Monmouth County, including its economic development resources and incentive programs. One can also read about Monmouth's top tenants, its labor pool and modes of transportation to the Park. This section acts as a device to attract tenants to this area of New Jersey which has been dubbed "Silicon Parkway."

Garden State Hi-Tech Park will further Monmouth County's existing reputation as a centrally located haven for corporate headquarters and technology-focused companies, as it is accessible from most major roadways and convenient to Manhattan, Philadelphia, Atlantic City and major metropolitan airports. Fully approved Phase One of the park will consist of two, four-story buildings totaling approximately 430,000 square feet and incorporate three levels of underground parking. The park will eventually include up to 19 buildings, ranging from two to 12 stories, most of which will be constructed as pairs of four- to six-floor structures featuring connecting landscaped plazas. Its unique setting of more than 70 acres of streams, ponds, walking paths and natural wooded areas will also set the backdrop for a 12-story, first-class hotel and conference center with 200+ rooms, a multitude of on-site conveniences and amenities, plus a helistop for tenant use.
