Friends of Hudson River Park announced that Douglas Durst has been elected as co-chairman of the organization.
Durst is co-president of the Durst Organization. He also served as chairman of New York Water Taxi and director of the Real Estate Board of New York.
Durst is a member of the Landmarks Conservancy and the Municipal Art Society.
