Free sites abound at iproexpress.com

Real Estate Weekly, Sept 22, 2004

For everyone who thinks that building their own website is too complicated or too expensive, the Small Business Empowerment Association has a solution--the free online website builder.

According to a survey from the Pew Internet American Life Project that compared a group of Internet users' online behavior between March 2000 and March 2001, "... the share of Internet users who had bought products online grew from 47% of Internet users in march 2000 to 53% in March 2001. The proportion who had purchased travel services had grown from 34% to 42%. The number who had done online banking grew from 17% to 23%."

The Small Business Empowerment Association Internet initiative is targeted at bridging the digital divide and providing a free and easy-to-use tool that anyone can use to build a website.

IPRO Express is an interactive online website builder that allows anyone to build a website in less than five minutes. The free online website builder can be accessed at www.iproexpress.com. SBEA will allow free online access to this system for the next 90 days; however, only 10,000 websites will be allowed access.

Features of the IPRO Website builder include unlimited web pages, shopping cart, over 200 professionally designed templates, over 1200 graphics, free website submission and more.

According to SBEA founder Malcolm Allen, "The growth of business lies on the Internet. It was once said a business without a sign is a sign of no business, in the next two years this theory will prove to be true for a business without a website."

The mission of the SBEA is to help small businesses by providing them with tools, resources, benefits and discount services.
