Real Estate Weekly, Sept 20, 2000

One year before its lease was due to expire, Dilmun Investments, Inc., an offshore investment company, has signed on for an additional nine-year term at its current 6,438-square-foot fifth floor offices at Metro Center, announces Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of W&M Properties, the marketing and management agent for the building.

A tenant for more than a decade, Dilmun expanded its space and renewed its lease in 1994.

Newman and JoAnn B. McGrath, W&M's vice president of leasing and marketing, represented the building owner. Dilmun represented itself.

W&M Properties is the real estate management, marketing and acquisition arm of the Malkin family, which has commercial and residential operations in eight states.

Metro Center is a Class-A multi-tenanted facility that has its own telecommunications center and PBX capabilities, full HVAC capacity, 24-hour security, structured onsite parking, a concierge, a Fleet Bank ATM, the Metro Grille restaurant and catering service, a sundry shop (offering newspapers, dry cleaning and shoe repair services), two car rental agencies, and a fully equipped conference center
