Hartz Mountain Industries, Inc. has leased a corporate headquarters and studio facility at 24 Meadowland Parkway in Secaucus, N.J. to TV Russia Network, Inc.
TV Russia will use 25,000 SF of the 34,000 SF building as a self-contained, dedicated broadcast facility, starting in October, and will join such tenants as MSNBC, UPN 9, CBS, and NBA Properties in Hartz's Harmon Studio City, a concentration of production facilities in its developments in Secaucus.
24 Meadowland Parkway was originally built as a build-to-suit for Univision's channel 41, a Spanish language television station. Harmon Cove subsequently attracted UPN-9 (WWORTV at the time) as a tenant and the concept of Harmon Studio City was born. Since then, MSNBC, NBA Properties, and CBS all moved in, creating substantial studio, production, and broadcast facilities.
