Partnership buys 30 acres in NH - New Hampshire

Real Estate Weekly, Oct 14, 1992

Heller Macaulay Equities Incorporated has purchased 30 acres within the 100-acre Settlers' Green resort, retail center and hotel complex in North Conway, New Hampshire.

The New York City-based development company plans to build 100 two-to-three bedroom condominium and rental residential units that will offer panoramic views of the White Mountains. In keeping with the architectural design of Settlers' Green, the homes will feature traditional New England architecture with pitched roofs and cedar clapboard shingled exteriors.

The property abuts one of the most successful outlet malls in New England (stores include Eddie Bauer, G.H. Bass Outlet, Geoffrey Beene Store, J. Crew and Padagonia) and is nearby the 200-room Sheraton White Mountain Inn with full health club facilities. Skiing is close by at Wildcat, Attitash, Black, Cranmore and others; and golf courses abound in the vicinity.

Settlers' Green is located in the heart of the Mount Washington Valley, 140 miles by car from Boston and 350 miles from New York City. U.S. Air services the Washington Valley, and the Portland International Jetport is only 60 miles away.
