Two leases recorded at 900 Third Avenue - commercial building in New York, New York

Following this summer's 435,000 square feet of leases at 1211 Avenue of the Americas, JMB Realty Corp.'s 900 Third Avenue is off to a fast start in the fourth quarter.
Jeffries Group, Inc., a securities firm, has signed a long term lease for 13,720 square feet on the second floor. They join a number of other prestigious financial firms in the building, including Dean Witter and Avatar Associates. Paul Prince of Newmark Real Estate represented Jeffries Group in the move from Fifth Avenue.
The Council for Tobacco Research, Inc., has renewed their commitment to the building in a long term lease for 8,575 square feet.
In both transactions, the landlord was represented by JMB's Steve Morrows.
