Leases signed at 1790 B'way - commercial building at 1790 Broadway in New York, New York

Newmark Real Estate Services has announced four leases for 27,000 square feet of space at 1790 Broadway, the historic office building at Columbus Circle on the southeast corner of 58th Street in Manhattan.
Jeffrey Rosenblatt, executive director of Newmark Real Estate Services represented 1790 Broadway Associates in the transactions, which have an aggregate rental valued in excess of $6 million.
Leases at 1790 Broadway include First Nationwide Bank, which renewed and expanded its lease on 13,873 square feet of space; The Alpine Group, which leased 5,375 square feet on the, building's 15th floor (Grace Sardell represented Alpine); The Carson Group, Inc., which leased 3,826 square feet of space on part of the 15th floor (Kaufman Leasing represented Carson); and National Media Group, Inc., which leased 4,000 square feet on a portion of the fourth floor (Sylvan Lawrence represented the tenant).
According to Rosenblatt, 1790 Broadway is now 95 percent leased by a prestigious roster of tenants that include Hearst Corporation, PBS and Virgin Records.
