New Spectrum places 2 Lechters - New Spectrum Realty Services Inc. leases commercial space to Lechters Inc. in New York, New York

Lechters, the Harrison, New Jersey-based housewares emporium with over 500 stores, has leased approximately 6,000 square feet of space in the Empire State Building, 18 East 34th Street. The 12-year leasing transaction has an aggregate rental of approximately %5 million.
In another transaction, the housewares retailer leased approximately 4,000 square feet of space on Steinway Street in Astoria, Queens for 12 years, at an aggregate rental of approximately $3 million. Jeffrey D. Roseman, vice president of New Spectrum Realty Services, Inc. represented the tenant in both transactions.
