Anthony Fasanella elected to lead appraiser in '93 - Anthony F. Fasanella appointed president of Metropolitan New York Chapter of Appraisal Institute

Anthony F. Fasanella, SRPA, SRA, a New York real estate appraiser for more than 30 years, will be installed as president of the Metropolitan New York Chapter of the Appraisal Institute Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Annual Holiday Dance and Installation Dinner, at the Terrace on the Park at Flushing Meadow Park.

He succeeds Peter S. Brooks, MAI, of Austrian, Roth & Partners, who will be completing his one year term as chapter president at the end of December.

Fasanella, president of National Realty Consultants, Ltd., Whitestone, New York, is a New York State Certified Instructor of real estate appraisal courses for the state certification and licensing program, an Adjunct Assistant Professor of New York University, and an instructor for the Appraisal Institute, The New School, Molloy College and Long Island University.

Other officers to be installed include: Theodore A. Zarembo, MAI, first vice president, Nicholas Anderson, SRA, second vice president, Brian R. Corcoran, MAI, secretary, and Samuel B. Kuckley, MAI, treasurer.

The 12 members of the 1993 Board of Directors will also be installed. They are: Jerome N. Block, MAI, Sheldon Gottlieb, MAI, Dominick S. Pompeo, SRPA, Martin B. Levine, MAI, Alexander G. Hesterberg, MAI, Marilyn K. Weitzman, MAI, Robert G. Von Ancken, MAI, Howard M. Guttman, SRA, Diane B. Diamondstein, MAI, Julius C. Haynie, MAI, David A. Pearson, MAI, and David Scribner, MAI, SRA.

The installation ceremony is scheduled for approximately 9:30 p.m. following dinner.

Constantine Korologos, MAI, SRPA, is serving as program chairman for the event.

Tickets are $75.00 per person which includes cocktail hour beginning at 7:30 p.m., a full sit-down dinner, open bar all evening, live music and dancing until 1 a.m. Spouses and guests are invited to attend. Terrace on the Park is located at 111th Street and 52nd Avenue in Flushing at the site of the World's Fair Grounds near the USTA National Tennis Center. There is ample free parking on the grounds.
