Timothy M. Jones - promoted to senior vice president of Robert Martin Co

The Robert Martin Company has announced the promotion of Timothy M. Jones (photo), to the office of senior vice president. With the recent appointment, Jones will now be responsible for the coordination of the development firm's finance, property management and construction divisions, and will serve in an advisory capacity on matters relating to overall corporate operations.

He began his tenure with the Westchester-based firm in 1990 as vice president of Construction, responsible for the organization, administration and coordination of field operations for all properties in the construction and planning stages. As senior vice president, he will continue to direct this department and supervise all aspects of construction relating to Robert Martin's executive park facilities, office buildings and residential properties throughout New York and Connecticut.

Prior to joining Robert Martin, Jones was the founder and president of Clifton Companies, a real estate firm headquartered in Connecticut. He was also previously affiliated with Federated National Company as president of the Pennsylvania-based real estate and management firm, and with Chemical Bank's Real Estate Division as vice president.

A resident of Greenwich, Connecticut, Jones holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and received an MBA from Columbia University.
