Textile firm moves to 251 Park Ave. So - Maharam Fabric Corp - Brief Article

Less than three months after completing the final phase of an extensive restoration and modernization of its office tower at 251 Park Avenue South, owner F. M. Ring Associates has signed up a major tenant for the building's top two floors.

Maharam Fabric Corporation, the wall-covering division of Maharam, the country's largest contract textile whole-saler, has leased the entire 15th and 16th floors comprising 13,880 square feet of space for its design, marketing and sales departments.

Helman and Howard J. Tenenbaum of Helmsley-Spear, Inc., broker, represented Maharam in the long-term leasing transaction which, with options, calls for an aggregate rental in excess of $6.3 million.
