Real Estate Weekly, Feb 19, 1992

Following the recent announcement of the opening of Jones Lang Wootton's first office in Czechoslovakia, the firm announced an exclusive leasing instruction for an office building consisting of 18,830 square feet located in Prague, the nation's capital.

Originally an 18th century palace, the building is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment behind the landmark facade and is due to be completed in February 1992.

"We are seeking a rent in the region of $3.00 per square foot for this very attractive building which will soon be restored to its original glory," said Michael Hodges, a partner based in Jones Lang Wootton's London office."

The building occupies a good central location, close to the famous Charles Bridge in the historical area of Mala Strana, which is well-served with good public transport. There is parking for 16 cars and other benefits to the property include central heating and northern telecommunications.
