Vice Consulate of Italy leases full floor at Newark building

In a lease renewal and expansion, the Vice Consulate of Italy has signed for the entire 28th floor of 744 Broad Street, also known as the National Newark Building. The Italian Vice Consulate will service the State of New Jersey from its 5,000-square-foot offices. Helmsley-Spear Vice President Leon G. Topelsohn served as sole broker in the transaction.

In a separate announcement, Helmsley-Spear has also completed a 700square-foot lease transaction with A Net Communication Services Inc. 744 Broad Street.

The National Newark Building ris 35 stories in the heart of Renaissan Newark and includes 560,000 squa feet. For many years New Jersel| tallest building, this tower remains 01 of downtown Newark's premiere 1oc tions, centrally located to federal, st and municipal courts and offices, well as major transportation hubs.
