NJ building nears capacity

Eastman Management's handsome, contemporary two-story, 80 '000square-foot corporate office building at 70 South Orange Avenue is now 95 percent leased.

Among the "new" tenants is a law firm that established offices at the prestigious Livingston address back in 1988.

Lehman Lehman & Gruber recently increased their office space to 3,400 square feet.

Peter Schofel, Eastman's executive vice president, noted a few of the building's physical assets. 'At 70 South Orange Avenue we cater to top echelon business and professional firms," he said. 'They are attracted by the building's handsome architecture, its beautiful marble lobby, its landscaped parklike setting and its on-site food service. Newark Academy is directly across the street and you might say their academic campus and our corporate campus complement each other perfectly.

"And 70 South Orange Avenue is conveniently close to the Garden State Parkway, Routes 10, 23 and 46 and Interstates 80, 280 and 287."

Eastman Management Corp. is an affiliate of Eastman Construction Company and the recipient of the Developer of the Year Award from the New Jersey Division II NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Parks .) In the past 10 years, the Livingston-based organization has created and currently manages more than one million square feet of business-related space in suburban Essex and Bergen Counties.
