MONY re-leases at Glenpointe Centre West

Owner/Developer, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises announced that Mutual Of New York (MONY) has re-leased 98,232 square feet of office space at Glenpointe Centre West. The five-year lease is valued at $11.5 million and keeps the occupancy of the office centre at 95 percent.

The 330,000-square-foot Glenpointe Centre West is part of the heralded mixed-use project located at the intersection of Route 80 and 1-95, less than three miles from the George Washington Bridge in Bergen County, New Jersey.

MONY is the ninth largest mutual life insurance company in the United States with total assets under management of $23 billion. Their Glenpointe Centre West office location, one of four principal office locations in the United States, houses their Individual Financial Services operation.

The broker on the transaction was David Baldwin of Helmsley Noyes. Recognized as the most prestigious mixed-use project in New Jersey, Glenpointe consists of three office buildings totalling 650,000 square feet of space; the 350-room Loews Glenpointe Hotel and Conference Center; a 26,000 square foot spa complete with a 30'x48' indoor pool, state-of-the-art equipment, steam baths, saunas, an aerobic exercise facility and nursery; and, a 164-unit townhome community.

Designed by acclaimed architect Barrett Allen Ginsberg, Glenpointe is noted for its lavish atriums including extensive landscaping, fountains, and marble throughout. The complex also features three restaurants, a full service travel agency, hair salon, dry cleaner, 175-seat cafeteria, conference facilities and parking for 3,100 cars, most of which is sheltered.

Among the Fortune 500 firms based here include National Westminster Bank New Jersey, Weyerhaeuser, Ajinimoto, The Equitable and General Electric.
