Sheldon Good readies for 2 NJ auctions Aug. 23 - Sheldon Good and Co. to conduct condominium auction for New Jersey property on August 23, 1992

Regal Arms, one of northern New Jersey's luxury condominium residences, will offer for sale its 34 remaining units at a public auction on Aug. 23, announced Sheldon Good & Company, which will conduct the auction on behalf of the seller.

At the auction, 10 residences will be sold "absolute," regardless of price, to the highest bidders, subject to a minimum bid of $49,000. The homes were originally priced from $159,900 to $198,500.

Located at Kennedy Boulevard and 75th Street in the heart of North Bergen, the four-story, 40-unit brick elevator building was completed in 1990. All Regal Arms homes are spacious and lavishly appointed. Every home features two-bedrooms with at least 1,085 square feet of space complete with two ceramic tiled bathrooms, plush wall-to-wall carpeting, General Electric equipped kitchens, abundant closed space, individually controlled central air-conditioning and heating systems, and insulated windows. Most have terraces. The residences are protected by a closed circuit video intercom security system, and sheltered on-site parking is available for all home-owners. The residence offers easy restaurants, the Meadowlands Sports Complex and in-town and suburban mall shopping. The residences to be auctioned will be available for inspection beginning August 1, on Saturdays and Sundays between noon and 4 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m.

The auction will occur Aug. 23 at noon at the Ramada Plaza Suite Hotel, Secaucus, New Jersey.

And in Long Branch, New Jersey, on Aug. 23, Spruce Commons, a brand new 14-unit luxury townhome-style condominium residence minutes from the Jersey Shore, will offer for sale its seven remaining homes at a public auction.

Sheldon Good & Company will conduct the auction on behalf of the seller.

At the auction, two of the homes will be sold "absolute," regardless of price, to the highest bidders, with a suggested opening bid of $35,000. The homes were originally-priced from $136,000 to $140,000.

Located on Spruce Street, the three-level, two-bedroom, one and one-half bath townhome-style residences, completed in 1990, are less than five minutes from the Jersey Shore's best beaches and associated marinas and beach clubs, and an easy commute to Manhattan via "press bus, ferry service or New Jersey Transit rail. Homes at Spruce Commons offer such features as family rooms with sliding glass doors, private balconies, conditioning, Thermopane windows and sliding glass doors with screens, ceramic tile and marble baths, decorative interior lighting fixtures, General Electric-equipped kitchens, and one-car insulated garages with interior access.

All residences to be auctioned will be available for inspection Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m., Tuesdays from 4 to 8 p.m., Complete offering terms are contained in an offering plan available from the sponsor.

The auction will take place at 2 p.m. at the Ramada Plaza Suite Hotel, Secaucus, New Jersey. A cashier's or certified check for $4,000 will be required to bid. Excellent financing will be offered through Midlantic National Bank.
